We booked for 3 nights based on a friends recommendation. Having visited the superb citadelle of Bonifacio we agree that the Maquis is the best option for a comfortable stay close to Bonifacio, the in town options looked very down at heel. The accommodation is in satellite units around the dining room & swimming pool, they were very private & well appointed but felt a little remote. The staff were very pleasant & helpful, the heated pool was nice & there was a spa which we didn’t use. The restaurant menu was based heavily on Italian cuisine & whilst the dishes we chose were generally good we were a little disappointed that it didn’t change during our stay. The outstanding feature of the hotel is the view back towards Bonifacio especially as the sun sets. On balance we would rate it as a good 4 star aspiring to be 5 star.

Excellent all around. Fantastic service. Rooms were spacious. Impeccably clean. Great spa. Well rounded breakfast. Loved the complimentary transfer service that took you into the marina which was less than 10 min away. So convenient for dinners and a boat tour we did. Chiara at the front desk was beyond helpful. Loved everything about it.

Just spent 4 nights at this excellent hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A luxury hotel with personable staff that cannot do enough for you. 5 stars well earned.

We spent 4 nights here and welcomed the retreat of the hotel after the bustling citadel of Bonifacio. The on demand transfer in and out meant we never worried about parking given the town is too far to walk to and the staff could not have been nicer in jumping up to drive us frequently in and out. Our room overlooked the citadel and whilst it was gorgeous we felt any room would be wonderful. We did not use the spa feeling the pool offered all we needed including drinks and a pool food menu. The sunsets in the evening from the restaurant were something else and we highly recommend the hotel for service, style, ambience and location.

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours dans cet hotel moderne aux portes de Bonifacio. L'hotel est très beau et très bien placé. La piscine est grande et permet de faire de laps. Les chambres sont confortables. Le service de navette est un vrai plus. Nous avons juste eu une petite déception au niveau du restaurant qui n'était pas à la hauteur de l'établissement.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument mémorable à Bonifacio. La chambre, avec sa magnifique vue sur la citadelle (type: chambre supérieure avec vue Citadelle), était simple mais très confortable. L’h?tel et les jardins sont parfaitement tenus, chaque détail est pensé avec go?t. Une cuisine italienne pleine de saveurs (bien meilleure que l’an dernier), merci au chef napolitain et son équipe ! Mention spéciale au personnel : jeune, souriant, professionnel, un service irréprochable en toute simplicité. Service de navette vers le centre ville de Bonifacio est un plus. Tout était réuni pour un séjour sans faute. Nous y reviendrons!

Magnifique, génial,parfait ,top ,incroyable ……. Personnel au top , ils sont tous jeunes efficaces ,gentils au petit soins pour vous . L’h?tel est incroyable c est calme c est propre c est beau on a passé 5 jrs de bonheur La navette qui vous descend en ville est hyper pratique pas besoin de prendre la voiture . Si je pouvais mettre 7 étoiles je le ferai Continuez comme ?a et nous reviendrons l’année prochaine

Un séjour magique de 4 nuits à Version Maquis Citadelle ! L’endroit est paisible, intime (très peu de chambres, ce qui est vraiment appréciable) et parfaitement intégré dans la nature. On se sent tout de suite coupé du monde, dans une bulle de calme et de confort. La chambre avait une très jolie vue (supérieure vue citadelle) et les piscines & le spa sont juste incroyables. Le restaurant est excellent, les plats sont fins, originaux et savoureux – même si les prix sont un peu élevés, la qualité est là. Gros coup de c?ur pour le cours de yoga offert par l’h?tel, une superbe attention, et pour la navette très pratique entre l’h?tel et le port de Bonifacio (?a évite d’avoir à garer la voiture). Bref, un lieu à part, parfait pour se ressourcer !
