  • Guest：Very good hotel. Good location within one block of a fantastic city park which is well worth a stroll. Hotel rooms very clean, well serviced. All staff very helpful and friendly, particularly Kevin on reception. Free town maps available. Good restaurants not far away, bus stops just along the road. There is a pool outside but we didn't have time to take a dip but it looked OK. Breakfast very comprehensive nice to see bottles of Cava available. I would recommend this place and certainly stay here again.

Form their website, Hotel Colon Rambla appears to aspire to be an excellent service for businesses and tourists, however their very friendly and polite staff unfortunately fall short of the mark; the reception had one member of staff at 20:30 resulting in a 35 minute check in; their room key programmer was broken leading to a wait of 24 hours to receive a room key (the receptionist kindly agreed to let us in each time we asked, though this understandably took some time); the room service took 90 minutes to arrive and reception seemed unable to communicate with the kitchen directly making it difficult to place our order; and unfortunately we had to kill a cockroach, though I suspect this may have just slipped in stealthily from the balcony door. In summary the room was nice and generally clean, the staff were welcoming and the bar was reasonable, but it wasn't worth the wait at this price point.
  • Guest：If you are looking for a comfortable hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife which is comfortable and well managed this is a good choice. Despite the attractive swimming pool and garden, this is not a 'resort' hotel but a quiet hotel in the very smartest and quietest part of town. Our room, 303, was one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in for a while for the price. Very spacious, comfortable king bed, and a reasonable size balcony overlooking the pool. The bathroom is fine, with a rainfall shower with plenty of pressure. There is a restaurant, but with a Michelin restaurant (Etereo) 10 minutes walk away across a park, and several Tripadvisor recommended places also in walking distance, in honesty there are better places to eat.   • Guest：the front desk was friendly yet professional. The hotel is on the samll side but very clean and relaxing. we had the suite room on the 2nd floor overlook the swimming pool. the room was spacious, great sunlight, good storage, coffee machine, mini fridge, safe and great air-conditioner. the toilet was nice size, very clean with great water pressure. the breakfast was good quality, the pastries were super good. the staff throughout the hotel was friendly. overall, the experience was great, thank you.
