We had a lovely stay at Scandic Torget! The location is so convenient as you are within walking distance for many tourist/sightseeing spots. Tour busses usually do pick up on the same street as Scandic Torget so that is super convenient too! Only thing is that on the weekends it can get a little bit noisy from midnight to 4AM. But overall we had an amazing stay and would recommend staying at Scandic Torget!
Location is superb, near to our fav restaurant just located infront of the hotel.
A supermarket is also within the vincity as well as some shopping mall.
Probably need to walk a fair bit fr train station
It had been a pleasant stay but we were given the accessibility room which was quite different. I wished the hotel did clarify this at the beginning during check in.
Otherwise, good location! Decent hotel.
Loved the location and the service. Only 2 minor issues- TV didn’t work (wasn’t a big deal at all for me) and there was no chair in the room, had to sit on bed. Despite these items, I would definitely stay here again.
Scandic Torget in Bergen has its pros and cons. The staff were friendly and the location is great right by the fish market and close to attractions. The view is nice too.
Breakfast was busy and the food was just okay with limited options. The door lock was frustrating because it didn’t always lock right away. One of the elevators felt a bit unsafe and almost got stuck. Overall, it’s a decent hotel but needs some improvements.
