Great hotel with a good high tea and puppet show. The pool was great and the hotel was up to par with any Marriott. Stayed with my family.

I had high hopes for this Hotel. Where do I start. So I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival and asked for a Fort View Room. I was in contact with Partha Saha, the Front Office Manager more than 6 months in advance to secure such a room, which he promised. I had also confirmed the room a week before I arrived. Upon arrival, the reception desk was a total mess. Four people handling my checking in process on Monday 15th December at around 6pm - 6.30pm. When I arrived, my private tour guide and I noticed a few things: 1. Other guests were treated with attention and respect and I was not. Example - a couple of guests received a special welcome with a gift. I got nothing and zero acknowledgement. 2. We were made to wait at the desk for 15 mins - 20 mins before anyone was willing to talk to us. Should I divulge how much this hotel cost me for 1 night?? 3. When someone actually came to my aid to check me in, they had no idea what they were doing, I was passed around to four different people because the main twit was distracted with doing other things and passed me around to four different people. He even got so confused and asked my private guide for his passport because he thought he had a room booked too. I clearly told him with a booking confirmation that there was 1 room and it was for me and me only. The four staff were totally inexperienced and disorganised and even laughed at us while we were extremely peeved. I opted to pay my room at check-in and ask for a receipt of payment. The twit at the front desk said he could not give me a receipt and I only got the EFTPOS slip from the credit card payment. I insisted and he refused. I insisted again and he refused. When I finally got to my room, yes, it was super large but I had NO FORT VIEW ROOM. Instead I had a view of a junk yard and bird droppings. I clearly stated at check-in that a fort view room was guaranteed for me and the young woman with glasses said that there would be a fort view. Also all the extra towels I asked for 12 MONTHS BEFOREHAND WHEN BOOKING and the woman at the front desk at check-in said THEY WERE THERE IN THE ROOM - THEY WERE MISSING. It didn't stop there. The whole 1 night stay was a disaster. After they took my food order, I looked at the bill and was charged TWICE for a meal. I had to then rectify this by contacting the Restaurant Manager, Vineet Sinha who sorted this out swiftly for me, but it should not have happened. Full stop. If I did not check, I would have paid double. Later that night, I decided to go to the front desk and check up on my bill. I was told the room HAD NOT BEEN PAID FOR. Well what do you know, that is exactly why I ASKED FOR AN INVOICE. The previous twit had already left and the new guy at the front desk said he should have given me an invoice. So here I am, accused of not paying when I just paid for a room almost $800 AUD. I had the EFTPOS receipt in my room but boy was I annoyed and what a time waster. I told him to sort it out and to

We are staying at Marriott Jaisalmer on the occasion of my wife’s birthday, and our experience has been truly wonderful. I would like to especially appreciate Mr. Satyalpal, the Restaurant Manager, for his outstanding hospitality. He was extremely cooperative, warm, and genuinely caring. His birthday wishes and personal attention made our celebration even more special and memorable. He ensured everything was perfectly taken care of and made us feel truly welcomed. I sincerely thank him for his efforts and also wish that all the staff continue to maintain the same level of warmth and professionalism. A big thank you to Mr. Satyalpal and the entire Marriott Group for such a delightful experience. I happily rate 5 out of 5 for his behavior and the overall service. Cheers and thanks once again!

Marriot Resort & Spa, Jaisalmer Being a Platinum Member with Marriot, we’ve been to so many of their properties across India, but this is the lowest of all. Did not like the Management at so many points. The Good part Our Checkin was smooth, we were upgraded to a very spacious Suite, it was given before the check in time, so that was very comfortable. It was a two night stay for us, I was in touch with Binayak from the Concierge team before arriving, he was very helpful through out. Our Suite was spacious, had bathtub, the housekeeping team happily provided the Bath Salt. The toiletries were from Forest Essentials, that was good too. Akash at the Bar, was always smiling and serving. The menu at the Bar for the Cocktail Hour was also very good. The pool was good, couldn’t use it as it was quite cold but enjoyed reading my book by the pool side. Spa - Didn’t use the service. Felt suffocating while entering the Spa Block, Steam room was also under maintenance. The Bad part The Breakfast Buffet was very very basic, can easily be called a mid 3-4 Star Hotel buffet. Day 1 at Restaurant - Being Platinum, one of the benefit is that we get full day lounge access - complimentary Tea/ Coffee 24/7. We reached hotel before 11 AM, after the morning flight. Buffet was still going on. The Check in team guided us to the Buffet to help ourselves as there wasn’t any dedicated lounge. But the girl from the restaurant team came and told us that it’ll be billed, in a very cold and stern way, no politeness, no pleasing , none of the basic manners which a hospitality team should have. 2. Chef Pratap Singh - Felt that he has never worked anywhere else, doesn’t has any social skills. and feels that he owns the place, so much attitude and arrogance he had. On day 2, we ordered a French Toast which took more than 20 minutes to come, after I reached to Pratap Singh, he expedited the process, but when the French Toast came, it was all salty with cinnamon - can you imagine what sour taste it would’ve given. Before this French Toast Fiasco, the Dosa that we got was really below average and while we were complaining to Pratap Singh, he heard us at first, replied something and walked away, while we were still complaining. We had an afternoon flight, so for Lunch we decided to split a Pizza, ordered Pepperoni Pizza from the room, to have it at the restaurant, as I was busy in last minute packing, had to catch the flight also. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, the Pizza that we saw had 7 pepperoni’s, it felt like that it’s a margarita pizza, with a slice of tomato on each slice, came from a very local shop. We complained again - to Pratap Singh, had only few bites of it, couldn’t have more and we were in so much rush, that the team could not have prepared another one. (Please look at the photo) Staying at a 5 Star, and getting this service was not expected at all. Wanted to give 2 Stars, as having such experience from the same team every day, kills the vacation mood. B

We recently stayed at Marriott Jaisalmer and were truly blown away by the outstanding hospitality and care from the entire team. the chefs and staff here made me feel completely safe and cared for at every step. A special thanks to Chef Parvez, Chef Pratap, and Chef Narendra and Dilwer for their exceptional attention, kindness, and delicious food every single day. They took immense care of my gluten allergy and made sure I was well taken care of. Our sincere gratitude to the whole team for making our visit so memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer, the team here is an expert specially for allergy cases.

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Jaisalmer and the dining experience truly stood out. I have a gluten allergy and the team went above and beyond to ensure I felt completely safe and cared for. A special thanks to Chef Narendra Rawat who took exceptional care of us every evening. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. What made it even more special was the warmth, kindness, and personal attention he showed throughout. It is rare to meet someone who excels in their craft with such genuine heart. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer, especially guests with dietary needs. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable

Albergo dallo standard internazionale, aspetto un po' freddo, ma senza dubbio funzionale e dal buon servizio. Hotel di grandi dimensioni, buone camere e ottimo ristorante con servizio efficiente, veloce e attento. Una scelta senza dubbio ottima e senza sorprese.

Alojamiento de lo más confortable, el personal atento, dedicado, amable y detallista. Cada parte del hotel está en perfecto estado y cuidadosamente dise?ado. La piscina un lugar espectacular para disfrutar. Estamos muy contentas de haber formado parte de la estancia pero sobre todo por el personal que se dedica y cuida a las alojadas como Dilwer, Jyoti, Surajpal o Om entre muchos y muchas.
