We were on a 12 day road trip with our very close friends who are visiting SL on a one year vacation and we enjoyed every minute of our stay at Suriya. The Resort Manager Mr Arju was very friendly and helpful and made sure that we were treated like VIP guests from the time we arrived till we checked out!! We were even given a complimentary room upgrade since we were returning guests to Suriya. Since we were very tired after the long journey from Mannar, your front office representative Ms Shamila came to our suite to handle the check-in paperwork and our welcome drinks were brought to our suite. Mr James your F&B representative was always around to help us in the restaurant. Your assistant restaurant and bar manager Mr Shanuka Fernando made the most amazing cocktails for us and you should use the slogan “Best Cocktails in Negombo” Some of the cocktails he made for us was “ACHCHARU, Spice Berry Smash and Passion Mojito!! ACHCHARU was our favourite. The following team members, Marasinghe, Suresh, Rachidu and Muthu were very helpful to us during our stay and your Housekeeping team did a very good job with cleaning our suite!! We also had the pleasure of meeting the chairman of the resort Mr Eric Suriyasena during our stay!!

Das Hotel liegt an einem sehr ruhigen Ort an der Westküste von Sri Lanka. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Jeden Abend kann bei guten Wetter der Sonnenuntergang von der Poolliege verfolgt werden, denn man hat einen exklusiven Blick aufs Meer. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr freundlich und bei der kleinsten Frage oder Anliegen wird sofort geholfen. Auch die Kellner im Restaurant (z.B. Achini und Roshan) sind sehr aufmerksam und achten sehr darauf, dass sich der Gast wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist hervorragend, sehr abwechslungsreich und beinhaltet sowohl europ?ische als auch typische Küche aus Sri Lanka. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Wir k?nnen das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen

Wir waren Ende Mai im Suriya Resort, für 2 Wochen mit Freunden. Es war ein sehr sch?ner Urlaub. Alle Mitarbeiter vom Poolboy, Kellner, Barman Rukshan, K?che und besonders an der Rezeption Herr Isuru m?chten wir danken, er war immer Hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Das Essen war Exzellent für jeden immer was dabei, wer hier meckert soll zu Hause bleiben. Wir müssen dazu sagen, wir lieben Sri Lanka, waren schon 16 mal in diesem wundervollen Land, leider gibt es das Ranweli Village so wie wir es kennen nicht mehr, aber wir haben mit dem Suriya ein gleichwertiges Hotel gefunden. Was man auf jeden Fall empfehlen kann und wir kommen wieder. Auch wenn das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist, wird es immer wieder an allen Ecken gepflegt.

The staff was great and very kind. The hotel seems old inside and you find little bugs which was not ideal.
