  • Guest:A very good value hotel. Honest and unpretentious. Staff all really helpful. Majority of vacationers are Turkish but most staff speak a bit of English and other languages too. Pool is small but lots of sun loungers outside The area is what I would describe as cheap and cheerful. Location very convenient, directly on the beach.
  • Guest:The staff and the food were good, but the cleanliness at the hotel was very poor. Even though we booked an all-inclusive package, they charged extra for bottled water and alcoholic drinks. Only tap water was free. All drinks other than local alcohol were extra – we couldn’t even have a Turkish coffee without paying. Didim is a beautiful place, but the beach at Tuntas Hotel was quite dirty. I wouldn’t go again and wouldn’t recommend it. Try a different hotel instead.
  • Guest:Positives 1. Right on beach lovely distance to bar not drinkers cant coment on alcohol but shandy's and fizzy were lovely 2. Always sunbeds the sea ones were always taken but plenty if your not location fussy. We hired for only 100lira on the balcony beautiful view 3. All receptionists spoke English which was very helpful. Jhon was our go to lovely and knowledgeable. All staff very friendly 4. Food was hot and covered plenty of cold choices if to your liking. Turkish traditional salads meats and cheeses these options were the same every meal time. Only 8 hot options, Chips or wedges One meat dish Rice and pasta Veg Filled pita bread Chick nuggets, burgers or meatballs Breakfast....your norm, bread toppings, omelette made fresh and Turkish meats eggs beans 5. Rooms clean very basic Negatives 1. Mattresses are old and not overly comfy we changed one but made do. 2. The pool is small but quiet enough at times but with sea so close it wasn't an issue 3. Only 2 pudding choices the only one I liked was the chocolate sponge but missed out one night as it ran out, so grab yours as it was only put out twice in 7 days. 4. Snacks in afternoon were awful no burger bar just nuggets and wedges 5. Afternoon tea biscuits only a little dry and again just the same throughout Summary... We had a lovely time, we paid only £750 pp and knew we were getting a budget stay, tuntus actually exceeded our expectations. If you look for issues youll definitely find them however if you take it for what it is youll have a lovely stay. Didium is beautiful. We looked in close by hotels but still preferred tuntus. Hope I've helped you. I would return x
  • Guest:As someone who travels frequently — this being my fourth holiday this year — My aim to give an honest and balanced review of my current stay at the Tuntas Hotel and after several days here, I feel well-placed to share a detailed overview of my experience so far. This is not a rant — it's an objective account of the good, the bad, and the unfortunate realities of staying at this hotel. --- First Impressions & Room Condition The hotel itself feels a bit outdated, and the decor throughout reflects this. My room is very basic, but I will give credit where it’s due: it’s clean. There’s a mini fridge and I was provided with one complimentary bottle of water on arrival. There’s a TV in the room, but the only English-speaking channel available is Sky News, and the TV frequently loses signal. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is both noisy and weak. It hasn’t been effective in cooling the room and has intermittently stopped working, which has made sleeping & spending any relaxation time difficult. The mattress is extremely hard — I’ve been waking up with neck and shoulder pain. As for extra bedding, the only thing in the wardrobe is a musty-smelling pillow with lumpy filling! There is a small security safe in the wardrobe, for an additional usage charge. --- Bathroom & Housekeeping Housekeeping has been a bright spot: Clean towels are provided daily, Toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are always well-stocked. --- The View & Balcony: A Letdown My room overlooks the back of the hotel, with a direct view of waste bins, the delivery area and the staff rest zone. This means: No privacy: staff and delivery workers are constantly outside and can see directly onto my balcony and into my room. I’ve had to keep the room curtains closed for privacy. The balcony is very small, with two chairs, a table and a clothes rack. However, there’s also a large air conditioning unit mounted inside the balcony area, which: Drips water onto the balcony Heats it up when in use, making the balcony even less usable. --- Pool & Outdoor Areas The pool is very small and not suitable for relaxing — especially with the number of children using it constantly. There are: No sunbeds around the pool, only plastic tables and chairs, No parasols, and very limited shade throughout the day. Outside the hotel, you’ll also find more plastic tables and chairs, again without parasols, so shade is highly dependent on the sun’s position. --- Beach Access — A Rare Positive A major plus is that the beach is right in front of the hotel. The sea is calm and shallow — ideal for paddling or a gentle swim. The hotel has white plastic sunbeds with rattan parasols on the beach, but they’re: All reserved with towels early each morning and so never available. There are also wooden sunbeds on a concrete section in front of the beach, but many of these: Have broken headrests The foam mattresses are dirty The small woven rattan parasols don’t provide sufficient
