Guest：Lovely experience with sruty and chandni, would come again, the view and the ganga river, hospitality was absolutely amazing
Guest：We were looking for stay at the new properties of Taj which have been recently added …..we came across this Raichak property and OMG what a property ….out of the world ….. 1. This is a old resort owned by Neotia family now managed by Taj 2. The resort was painstakingly refurbished for last 2 years and became operational a few months back 3. This is a 150 acre property wuth 23 acres for the Taj property 4. There are 4 clusters of rooms with various types of rooms 5. We stayed in a deluxe room at Mahasalya cluster , very close to the Ganges river with a small sit out …there are only 2 rooms like this which are best 5. The property is huge and you require 3 days minimum to enjoy all the amenities 6. The cluster we stayed had its own restaurant Machan with a Ganga lounge and Veranda lounge with happy hours of drinks etc with a library and imported cigars 7. The property can be toured in electric carts , vintage cars and a Tonga which is fantastic ride 8. The indoor and outdoor play area were still not operational but will offer various games including pickle ball tennis 9. At the Fort cluster rooms where one can do breakfast in Shamiana restaurant, has flute rendition in Hindustani classical raga by a arist in two hours of morning which is really soothing 10. In evening at bar there is two hours of piano rendition while enjoying your drinks 11. There is a speciality Chinese cuisine RESTAURENT offering asian delicious food 12. The approach from Kolkata airport to property is almost 3-4 hours depending upon traffic 13. The best part are the the people managing the show from reception to housekeeping and restaurant offering the Taj standard with a wide smile 14. Will specifically mention about P Anand kumar and Anthony , two stalwarts who had been with the property from last 10 years ….taking hospitality to next level and inspiration to their young fellow workers 15. The other noteworthy staff were chef Saif and Visvajeet ….reception staff of samishtha Afzal and Sonam ….sankar and Rajib dube at shamiana ….Dharemender at the pool….Sudip at Machan ….Kent at Chinese restaurant 16. Must visit property to enjoy the Ganga river and ocean with Taj hospitality Suggestions for management 1. The private villas owned are not occupied and at night looks gloomy , one can provide adequate lighting at the entire villas for a great ambience 2. The property should arrange Ganga cruise and boat rides for the residents at the property….was informed it’s on the way and will be operational by March 2026 11.

Guest：It is a beautiful resort with stunning views. The staff is well behaved, helpful and polite, especially Shruty, Puja, Disha, Vijay and Mrinal. Service is also really nice. The food served at the restaurant is excellent. In the evening we witnessed the spiritual Ganga arati ***** with a mesmerizing baul performance.
