Guest：Amazing little find. We booked 4nights here, and what a little gem. Yes it is basic. But has all your needs. Very clean and tidy. Hakan gave us the warmest welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Coming so early in the season it was a little chilly at night, but Hakan got us more blankets and ensured we knew how to get the aircon working correctly to give us heat. It's lovely and quiet area, nice to hear the call to prayer rather than traffic, just a short 5-10 min walk to the centre. Would we stay here again, and that's a big YES.

Guest：We were disappointed with this stay after the positive reviews. We knew that the it would be a rather basic old fashioned apartment. It is set towards the outskirts of town in a quiet area, but is fairly accessible to the centre and river. We had a first floor one bedroomed apartment with a balcony giving a sideways view of some of the Kaunos tombs. There was a/c in the main room, set to hot, but it was not warm enough to need to be cool. The wifi was good. There was a small TV but we did not use it. It was, as said by others, very clean - the cleaner took a lot of time and trouble when cleaning - we came back to find she had re-arranged the 2 large sofas and table in the main room one day! The owner Hakan was also very friendly but clearly had not properly checked his apartments before opening for the season. It was we, not he, who discovered that both bedside lights did not work (he replaced a bulb to get one working but no electrician came in 6 nights to repair the other); we accidentally pulled a curtain down and 2 partly down as there were no ‘stops’ on the rails (Hakan replaced them saying it was his job); the shower ‘tray’ area did not drain and would still have an odd inch of water the following day despite pushing it to the drain (Hakan said this would be resolved when we had our half weekly clean, but this was not unfortunately the case). We had wanted to self cater quite a lot of the time but it is very difficult to make a meal with only a kettle and one hot ring and 2 small pans ie too small to put all the ingredients into. We have never had only 1 hot ring before! - Other reviewers clearly had more provision in their apartments. But the most disappointing aspect was the lack of hot water. A number of guests stayed for 1 or 2 nights but we were there for 6, and in all that time only had water comfortably warm enough for showering on the last 2 mornings when there were only 2 other people staying. Washing at all, let alone one’s hair in tepid water is not pleasant. Hakan’s suggestion that we showered in the afternoon or evening was not really helpful. As we have found in a few Turkish accommodations, this was one where only half a bedsheet was provided, so the other half of your body was covered by a blanket presumably used by other people, but Hakan was happy to give us an extra half sheet, so that we could layer it the length of the bed.

Guest：A DUMP The place was a dump. Chipped plates. Apartment needed updating. V v old furniture. Ok for budget hotel but wish it was clean. TV remote was not in the room so spoke with Hakan who could NOT do anything so we had NO TV. therefore had early nite in an uncomfortable bed. There was like warm water for a shower which did not have pressure. There were NO recent review’s therefore decided NEVER STAY in a place unless it has recent good reviews. The Owner was very nice.

Guest：The room was basic but very clean. Plenty of hot water when i needed it. Only a 5 minute walk into town. As a solo traveller i felt very safe. Absolute bargain price.
