Guest：The Fox House Inn is located close to the National Trust property at Longshaw, and is close to Hathersage, Chatsworth and Bakewell. It has a lively pub and restaurant attached, along with ample parking and good wifi for all your devices. We were a party of 3 in a family room, we found the beds were comfortable and the room had plenty of sockets to charge all our devices. The Inn staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, an excellent place to stay if you intend to hike or simply explore the Peak District. Definitely recommended!

Guest：First time stay and we weren't disappointed,quick efficient check in by a friendly member of staff who took us to our room,we stayed in room number 2, large room with a settee,clean quiet room with a comfortable bed & good pillows,nice bathroom with a good power shower.Drinks are a tad on the expensive side ￡5-￡6 a pint but you expect this in the countryside,it's not the Banker's Draft in town.Great to sit aside the open fire after a walk along Burbage Rocks in the cold.We were both impressed with our evening meal,I had the tender rump lamb skewer with hummus & flatbread & the wife had two starters washed down with a bottle of wine.Bar closes at 10.No noise when retired to bed,get a bit in the morning with road traffic but all in all would highly recommend,we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay on Halloween

Guest：We were welcomed from the very first minute we stepped into The Fox House. The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they made our stay a very special one! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. A very good selection of drinks in a comfortable bar. The Fox House itself is a quality building, 18th century I think, very tastefully decorated and so comfortable. In particular I would like to mention Lily, Liam and Courtney - thank you, you made our stay special...!
