Guest:We had a weekend stay at the Kendal Town Centre Travelodge in mid December. The hotel has parking directly beneath it, which was useful as it rained a lot and it meant that we did not get wet going between the car and the hotel. This incurred a charge of around £4 for 24 hours. The room was vast in size; we had two single beds and a double bed, along with the desk area and some hanging space. There were enough cups and teaspoons left for the number of beds provided. The view from the window was of an internal courtyard; we kept the curtains shut as it felt a little overlooked. There was some noise at night from people being loud on the corridor but this died down by midnight. We did notice some cleanliness issues, especially in the bathroom, as we found lots of hair around the bottoms of the walls and in the shower area. The hotel is located a little out of the town centre; given the weather, we did not go into the made town centre at night and instead opted for a takeaway from No. 1 Chinese opposite (which was delicious). We did not have breakfast but this was offered at check in. All in all, it was an adequate stay and we would consider staying here again in the future.
