  • Guest：Rosalind House is the perfect alternative to Carlisle's somewhat domineering hotels. An easy 5-10 in. walk from the station, several good restaurant options close by. My room was large, with a supremely comfortable bed and a fridge - with fresh milk for the supplied coffee/tea options. An unusual and thoughtful touch. Julie, the owner, is very responsive. Note that the sign by the front gate is quite small, and unlit. Highly recommended.
  • Guest：What a good decision we made, booking this lovely little b&b in Carlisle. Rosalind house was easy to find from the train station, clean, comfortable and stylish. The rooms had everything you need: a comfy bed, fresh bathroom, tea/coffee and a working TV. Julie was friendly and accommodating and gave us a superb breakfast including homemade savoury scones...just perfect.

Breakfast was fabulous in terms of variety and presentation. The location of is so convenient. It is just few minutes walking from Carlisle centre.
  • Guest：Very warm welcome, able to leave my luggage while I had a walk around and was placed in the bedroom for my return. The room was ample size as was the bathroom (lovely that there was a bathroom cupboard to keep toiletries in). Beds are comfortable and the room had nice touches: mini fridge and fresh milk, usb sockets, good lighting, nice décor. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, particularly the fresh fruit salad, pancakes and the bacon and cheese scones are delightful. Great for a solo traveller. Short walk to station, restaurants, museum and gallery, cathedral and town centre. Fabulous
