  • Guest：The hotel is a great value for money one! I was travelling alone at Athens and I wanted a hotel in a convenient location. Marina Hotel it was an excellent choice, just 5 minutes walk to the underground station. At the same time in just 5 minute walking distance the visitor can be at the Omonoia Square and from there to walk to Plaka, monastiraki and all the wonderful touristic areas, around Parthenon. Besides the location, the hotel was very clean, with nice Christmas decorations! Room was clean and tidy. The staff was very polite and on the top of the above, the breakfast was very good! Rooms decoration and furniture were of some age but the cheap price can justify it. If I could ask something more it would be for every day room cleaning. I stayed three nights and I only had cleaning one day.

  • Guest：Lovely little hotel, better than expected! Hotel staff are lovely, room was spacious, clean and stocked with amenities. There’s an old fashioned lift on site but takes a while to come so be prepared to either wait or take the stairs. Small downfall is the location as it’s in the backstreets of Athens down (probably not safe to walk alone especially as a female). Other slight downfall is the hotel public toilets don’t have any locks on the doors which made me feel uncomfortable to use so had to go back up to the room to use the toilet during breakfast time. Breakfast was a nice buffet mix and great hot drinks options, although the food on the hot plates was lukewarm so not sure they are working.
