Guest：What an amazing cottage, large and spacious and impeccably designed, we enjoyed two fantastic nights. while attending a family wedding. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay, the bathroom is sensational, the back deck relaxing and setting superb!

Guest：We stayed in the Henry Lawson suite for 4 days and loved every moment. The cottage was spacious with a king size bed and lounge suite in the main room and a large bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The heated bathroom floor was a special touch. The north-east aspect is perfect for autumn and winter with the morning sun streaming in through the full width window and door to an outside verandah. The setting is private with each cottage located separately. Complimentary continental breakfast is served in the lovely Vine Room, which has gorgeous sandstone walls and wooden ceilings, a central fireplace, many paintings including a large John Olsen painted specially for the venue and a view to the vineyard. We had dinner in the cellar door restaurant, which is open for 3 nights from Thursday to Saturday. We were pleased we didn't miss this treat as the food was delicious, wines were superb, service was excellent and the ambience special. We also had a light dinner (Bendooley Grazing Board) delivered to the cottage one night and enjoyed it with the complimentary bottle of Bendooley Estate sparkling. Lunch is available daily in the Book Barn restaurant but we were too busy exploring the Southern Highlands. Bendooley Estate is perfectly located for a stay in the Southern Highlands. It is only a 10 minute drive to Bowral and 5 minutes to Berrima and an easy drive to all the surrounding villages and attractions. Our stay was simply delightful.

Guest：We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Bendooley Estate in ‘Patrick White’ - one of their lovely studio cottages. They are spacious and provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed the view, a wine and an in-house book on the deck overlooking the fields. Although there were four weddings during our stay, the location of the cottages on the property made us almost unaware of the special events taking place. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, try Bendooley Estate. Make sure you stay when ‘Leo’s by Night’ is open so you can enjoy a delicious meal and local drinks.

Guest：We stayed in the May Gibbs cottage, a 3 bedroom with full kitchen house. My partner and I stayed with 2 friends (a mother and her adult daughter) and this wasn't the first time we'd been away together. We chose Bendooley as our friend's daughter was married there a year or two ago and loved it so much they wanted to go back again. The house is very tastefully decorated throughout and well equipped. We stayed in on Friday night and had a charcuterie board dinner. The Saturday night we had dinner at Leo's by Night, the restaurant on site, which I will review separately. Though the cottage is not far from the road (Old Hume Highway), there was minimal road noise. The 2 main bedrooms each have a massive ensuite and a veranda with chairs and a small table. We sat there in the morning as the sun is on the grass but it was well protected from any wind so it was lovely :-) The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds, I don't know if the management can join them into a king on request? I know some hotels etc will do that on request. That 3rd room has the main bathroom nearby but not as an ensuite. There is a BIG fireplace and plenty of wood, kindling and fire starters which is really appreciated in Winter in the Southern Highlands of NSW. We sat up till about 1.30 in the morning on the first night, enjoying the fire, nibbling and chatting. I was surprised there were no electric blankets on the beds but as it turned out, they weren't needed as the house retained the warmth well. In fact, it would have good to be able to open a window to get some of that lovely, fresh highlands air overnight. We could have left the sliding door ajar but with no fly screens, we weren't keen to do that... We all turned off the air conditioning (which was obviously set on heat) at night and were all still toasty warm in our beds. I would highly recommend Bendooley estate for a weekend away as a couple of with friends. As a bonus to the estate itself, it is close to the towns of Berrima, Berrima, Mittagong and lots of others.
