Guest：Well, not the least expensive place in town, this is a small complex of three apartments right in the center of town. The owners are Italian and the apartment comes with a delightful breakfast every morning. They have a small pool and offer yoga lessons for free we are extremely well traveled, and are happy to have found this place.

Guest：The Inner Light Yoga Lodge is perfect for anyone who is traveling solo and is new to Costa Rica. You will feel safe and secure, and everything you need is onsite or within easy walking distance. There are only four apartments, and the *very gracious* owners live there as well and will check in on you occasionally (without being remotely overbearing). The vibe is peaceful with complimentary morning yoga, and a quiet, mellow atmosphere devoid of loud music or parties. Safety is a priority with a gated entry that allows only guests; no one from the street can peer inside. In addition to the complimentary yoga, there is a delicious and filling complimentary breakfast including a croissant or some other type of tasty, homemade baked treat, plus fruit, and yogurt or oatmeal. On a budget? Keep in mind that, for me, there was always enough left over to enjoy for lunch. The rooms have a cozy porch where I lounged for most of a completely rained-out day. The space overlooks spectacular greenery and a compact pool which is the ideal size for a handful of guests. A wall between the porch and the adjacent apartment provides privacy and a discreet clothesline makes it easy to dry wet swimsuits and towels. The apartments have everything you might need for a comfortable stay. From strong wifi (I could stream my favorite jazz station and log into my workplace - VPN and all) to cooking utensils to air conditioning to a moka pot! (I never made coffee in a moka pot before. The owner, Federica, was kind enough to show me how, and it turned out to be the best coffee ever! I am going to be buying one to use at home.) The water pressure was excellent (though keep in mind that sometimes the power or water may go out; when that happens know that it's affecting all of Samara). The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The finishes and furnishings were tasteful and on point with what you would expect at yoga-oriented accommodations. A real treat was housekeeping, which showed up every other day. A car isn't necessary here because you are within very easy walking distance of three grocery stores, including one directly across the street, as well as an enormous variety of dining establishments. My favorites were MamaGui in Hotel Gaida (ideal for even the fussiest of foodies - it is easily on par with the finest restaurants anywhere) or L'Ulvio for some awesome Italian (this, too, is conveniently located directly across the street - they do take out as well). There is also a French bakery, Boulangerie, that is about a five-minute stroll away from the center of town. Get there by 10:30 a.m. at the latest because they sell out of goodies fast; the queue winds through their doorway and spills out onto their porch and into the parking lot. (Fortunately, they always seem to have plenty of olive bread left over, which in itself is worth the trip to Costa Rica).
