Guest：We had an amazing stay at Maadathil, the setting is perfect, we stayed in cottage on top floor which was incredible with breathtaking views. The staff are all very helpful and gave us excellent service. The manager is on hand every day to help with anything you need with a welcoming smile. We look forward to returning very soon.

Guest：I spent almost a month there and it was again lovely. It was my 3rd or 4th time there. The whole setup is small and thus very personal and the staff will do everything to help. Also to be mentioned: it is nice and quiet. I never much liked the fish there but now they have a chef who is actually capable of preparing a fish just with some pepper and salt and coriander and who will not drown it in masala. That is just some European thing but having such fresh fish it seems a crime to kill it off with some heavy curry sauce. They got in the morning some fresh crayfish and after preparation in the evening it had a nuttiness and slight sweetness I am craving here in Switzerland but will never get. However, it is up to the guests to have a word with the staff to relay their wishes as they cannot guess them. I would want to recommend their driver Anser/Ansar (sorry about that): not only is he very entertaining but he also always has some snippets of of information when driving with him (e.g. to Trivandrum or Cochin). Another point in their favour is that they also have always Indian guests. It would be impossible for me to stay in a ghetto-like Caucasians only place. In short another very good holiday which is to be repeated.

Guest：it is a great beautiful place and highly recommended. definitely a fantastic place to relax. the people are very friendly and helpful. the cottage are close to the sea and in a beautiful garden. there is plenty of room to relax or sunbathe or read in the garden. the restaurant is very good. in short, highly recommended

Guest：Very peaceful location, caring staff, with clean, character-filled rooms and generous balconies. Breakfasts are bespoke, including very generous fruit and curd bowls, which were great for us, now on our 5th week of travelling in India as a family with our daughters aged 18 and 21. Loved it! Thank you to the staff for all your care and attention, especially for retrieving my sandal from the cheeky dogs!
