Guest：Fairly average 3*. Not "luxurious " by any standard .great views of the neighbouring back to backs. Disappointed in entrance, I use a walking stick and there are no handrails

Guest：We have been staying at the Merrion for over 25 years. Sadly, our trip at the end of July was our last. The Bream family ran this hotel for all the time we stayed. The food was first class. The hotel has now been taken over by a group of hotels. We noticed that the food appeared to be the same but you could tell that it wasn’t for instance the bacon was a cheaper cut, the tomato’s we’re cherry rather than whole tomatoes fried, the orange juice was cordial whereas before it was whole juice. The evening meal was not up to the standard of he Bream family.

Guest：Another lovely four night break at this excellent hotel . We very much appreciated our spacious third floor suite with wonderful sea views . The housekeeping staff were most efficient . The food was great . This time we had a dinner / bed & breakfast package . Delicious breakfasts with local produce. Especially good black pudding & sausages. There was a big choice of evening meal . My husband very much enjoyed the roast of the day . Coffee was served in the lounge / ballroom after dinner . This was accompanied by very enjoyable musical entertainment . We were lucky to have Morgan Reeves for three of our nights who coped with many requests . We look forward to returning to The Merrion next year .

Guest：We stayed in a sea view double room for two nights. Had the 3 course set meal one of the nights. Both mornings we had the full breakfast. We were treated like royalty! The staff are so kind and we watched them working so hard with attention to detail. Food is outstanding! And the whole hotel is so clean! Spotless! Thank you we are coming back!
