  • Guest：Stayed for 4 nights end April/May 2025. Absolutely lovely guest house. Immaculate gardens and lovely decor. Comfortable room and slept very well. Everything you could have wanted in the room and lots of extra nice touches. The weather was not good enough for us to use the outside area and pool much but we could see this would make it hard to leave the hotel on a hot day! Mico was so helpful, kind, informative and hard working. He would be there from early morning, serving (the delicious) breakfasts and being available for advice and help at all times, despite being clearly very busy with other arrivals and duties. We followed up many of his suggestions, including, going to Aubergine restaurant. We wanted somewhere quiet, and not too far away after a long day of sightseeing, and this was just perfect. We had some technical problems with our hire car and had difficultly getting through to Avis. Mico intervened and got the car changed for us. All the staff seemed to genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The room was so clean. The location had an upmarket residential feel to it with safe parking on the streets. Ubers were not expensive and very reliable and as Cape Town is spread out, it was so helpful to have drivers take you to the destinations you needed. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Cape Town. Thank you so much Mico for looking after us, it made our stay at the Guest House perfect.
  • Guest：Stayed here on Day 2 of our Hadrians Wall walking holiday. We had a mishap for one of our party & thought he might need a room downstairs - our hosts obliged with a last minute change to our booking. The breakfast was great and we had a lovely stay.
  • Guest：We had a warm welcome at this guest house and it seems very well run and clean but I'm struggling to reconcile the description of our room as luxury with the reality and to understand the enthusiasm of many of the reviews. We've stayed in many B&Bs and this is definitely not at the luxury end. The room was small and the bed linen rather old. It looked as if it's many years since the room was refurbished. The guest house is convenient for the station but not at the nicer end of town. Definitely not a bad experience but not a fantastic one either.
  • Guest：Over priced and underwhelming! Room described as luxury twin, but it wasn't. Although clean, room was small, beds were small, low and hard, the duvet so thin you need to go to bed dressed to stay warm, the ensuite was tiny, only one mug for tea despite asking for extra cup, no spoon to stir tea. One of the most unappealing rooms we have stayed in. Suggest checking room details before booking. Also agree with other reviewers about poor location.
