S?e?l?i?n? ?O：Fantastic atmosphere and unbelievable food within a one of a kind setting. Cannot fault our stay at all. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend the family room with an amazing view of the castle.
G?u?e?s?t? ?U?s?e?r：Just returned from a two night stay, we were in a castle view room which was lovely. The room and bathroom were first class. There were definitely teething problems - no coffee machines in the room (apparently was told none of them had - yet), although one appeared on our second night. The lift was out of order, again rectified on our second night. The bar prices were incorrect, the young barman apologised and said management were aware and they were waiting for an updated priced bar menu. I did complain about this and they removed them - but a pint of Madri on the menu was 5.60 and we were charged 6.90! Then on the second night charged 5.90 .. I ordered a mojito and asked for a straw (to stir and drink through) but was told they’d run out. Breakfast was just ok - not a great choice from a continental perspective, my husband thought eggs tasted like powdered eggs. Whilst sitting eating our breakfast on Sunday morning at 9.30 there was a cleaner vacuuming at the entrance to the dining room so didn’t make for a particularly pleasant atmosphere! The hotel is ideally situated and car park large (although hike up the steps as others said). Once these problems are sorted it’ll be 5 star.
G?u?e?s?t? ?U?s?e?r：Arrived at 11am for coffee after driving up to Northumnberland from Kent in super fast speed. The new hotel offers excellent coffee and a bar menu on the sunny garden terrace. We loved it and looked round Alnwick castle afterwards. We will return for a longer experience next time.
