  • Guest：My 84 year old mother and I chose this hotel as it was close to the Grand Egyptian Museum. The initial impression was mixed: the entrance was dirty, the elevator to the reception was not well kept up, the front desk staff lady was nice and allowed us to check in early--a welcome kindness after an all night flight. The room as adequate, if small and not well appointed except for the very excellent hot shower. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast: the lentil soup was tasteless, the vegetables fresh but hydroponically raised as such also tasteless, the coffee (served from a machine) was watered down. Paralleling the tasteless breakfast was unmotivated breakfast staff. The whole feeling of the hotel was that they were simply employees who could not be bothered to be nice but had to do it in a mechanical and non-heartfelt way.
