  • Guest user：This is our 4th time staying at the Minura Cala Galdana and yet again we have had the most fantastic time. We stayed from 6th to 13th August. We last stayed in 2017 and there were a few changes which made our experience even better. The rooms have all been renovated and we were delighted to find that our room had a kettle and mugs. Perfect for enjoying a coffee overlooking the beautiful view. We stayed in room 605 facing the sea. Our room was kept immaculately clean by housekeeping, and was more than adequate for the 3 of us. We appreciated the air con as it was very warm at night. We were also pleased to find that there was quite a selection of British TV channels. Not that we were watching much, but it was nice to have the news on in the mornings and watch some of the Olympics. The food was very good. We were happy that the hotel still has a gala evening once a week and we loved trying all of the Menorca food. For the rest of the time there was a fantastic collection of dishes with something for everyone. Our daughter is notoriously fussy, but she ate well for breakfast and dinner. The bars were equally as lovely. We had lunch at the pool bar quite a few times and the food was delicious. The evening entertainment was very good. Something for everyone and it really gave such a wonderful atmosphere. Every single member of staff from reception to housekeeping are wonderful. They were all so kind and friendly, not to mention very hard working. We found the restaurant staff to be delightful and we loved chatting with them all. The waiters by the pool work so hard, are constantly busy, but we’re so friendly and welcoming. Our stay was perfect, but the only thing I think could be improved upon are the sun beds. I would suggest that the hotel put in a system of removing towels from people who have not returned to their sun beds after a period of time. We watched one large family place towels around the children’s splash pool every morning “Time for Prosecco” and then go out for the day, returning late afternoon. Meanwhile lots of families with little ones were disappointed when they had nowhere to sit. They weren’t the only ones doing that. We would get a sun bed after breakfast and when we were heading off to the beach, we would give our sun bed to someone else. We went out for two days to explore Ciutadella and Mahon. We accepted that there would be no sun beds when we returned, so went to the beach. I should stress that it had no impact on our experience, but we could see how it was impacting others. Especially those with young children. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We will most definitely be returning.
  • Guest user：It's about our fourth visit to the island, we used to stay at Victoria Playa in Santo Tomas. We visited Cala Galdana loads of times and both our parents stayed at this hotel in the past so it became a special place for us. We decided on this holiday to book this hotel and we haven't regretted it. Lovely room, fantastic staff and location. Food is plentiful and delicious with choices for every taste. The nighttime entertainment is excellent and I cannot fault anything about this hotel. I will be back and thank you to all the staff for making my holiday so special.
  • Guest user：Fantastic stay at Minura Cala Galdana - half board in a two bed apartment was great value for us as a family of 4. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and hard working, especially Juan Jesus and Candela who were welcoming and attentive. The food selection at breakfast and dinner was impressive. The beach was stunning and a 3 min walk away. Water shallow and calm and lots of beach cafes. For adventures there are pedalos with slides, paddle boards, canoes and boats to hire. We enjoyed lunch at Mirador overlooking the beach as well - this was such a treat! Great kids disco as well, thank you to Sara and Jasmine. We will be back!
  • Guest user：This hotel was brilliant!!! Initially I was disappointed that we didn’t have a balcony . BUT - we did have a beautiful sea and pool view . The cleanliness was impeccable . The food and drinks were just perfect & not over priced . The location was great 5 min walk to the beach , same to shops restaurants and bars . Bus stop just across the road with regular buses all over the island . Entertainment was fabulous too . We had a great holiday & would love to return sometime .
