8 of us stayed at this resort for 2 nights. This resort is really a find. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of little springs of mountain water. Our room was clean and offers a magnificent view of the stream and mountains. Around the grounds, we found charming little corners to rest and relax. The host prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the garden in front of a blooming persimmon tree. The staff were great, we had no complains at all. I would recommend this resort to friends and family in a heart beat.

Going by the rave reviews, we booked our stay in the Riverdale Resort, Gilgit. While the rustic wood-hewn cottages, rushing stream, lush green fantasyland setting replete with apricot & berry trees; and, most importantly, a very caring staff are commendable, RR need to clean up their act by focusing on pristine, dust-free room interiors, adding shower curtains to prevent puddles in the bathroom and offering a wider meal selection. Must do: Catch and eat freshly-cooked trout from RR's on-site trout farm. A good hotel but not in the Resort class yet!
