Excellent location, great rooms and lovely restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome and there is nothing better on a summer night than sitting in the hotel garden with a great bottle of wine. Imogen served us in the restaurant and was friendly and professional providing great food choices. The food was wonderful and cooked to perfection. Carlos the bar manager was also wonderful

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Checking in was quick and straightforward. Room comfortable and clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and special thanks to Faith, Maddie and Elena who could not have done more. Food very good. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We will stay here again.

Absolutely love this place. The room was clean, airy, and cozy—very comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly. We stayed on a Saturday night, and it was slightly noisy in the bedroom because everyone was out in the garden enjoying the summer evening, and we had our windows open. However, it didn't bother us too much since we were out at the bar later until around eleven o'clock. After that, it was quiet, and we had a very restful sleep. Breakfast in the garden was awesome, and the beach is only a stone's throw away. We would love to go back again.

The Sea View is a great pub with rooms situated very near the beach at East Preston. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated with a modern en-suite and it did have a sea view! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good and hot ( in fact too hot, but suspect that was us rather than an issue with the shower!) The only small negative was as it’s a pub music played a lot of the time - fine on Saturday evening but a bit much at 7am on Sunday morning. We had an evening meal and breakfast and the food was excellent especially for the price. Even the butter seemed home-made! Staff were friendly and we will definitely go back.

The Seaview is probably better defined as a restaurant/pub with rooms. It is in a lovely location of the edge of East Preston close to the sea. The room we had did have a view of the sea. It was relatively small but had everything we needed - hanging space, sufficient plugs to charge devices and a modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable (though the mattress had a incline towards the right). When you check in you do this at the bar. The bar has an outside drinking area. There was a good choice of drinks including beers and ales. We had dinner and the choice of food was good. The quality and presentation of the food was excellent and it was reasonably priced. The waiting staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Again it was of a good standard. The coffee was from a speciality coffee provider and was really tasty. Breakfast was reasonably priced. There is limited parking at The Seaview and some of it is quite diffcult to get into. However there is free and paid parking in East Preston and is only a short walk away. In East Preston you can find pubs, restaurants and cafes. There is also a cafe on the beach. Overall The Seaview is a great, well-run boutique gastro pub with rooms.

I had friends over and Not enough Bedrooms at My house so Booked them in to Seaview ,Amazing Value for money Great Breakfast spotlessly clean ,Thank you to the staff who could not have done More for My family Highly Recommend Just book early as only a few rooms ,Thank You

My husband & I were down from Scotland for a friends 80th birthday. Not having been to the area before I researched a few hotels and decided on The Seaview, it didn’t disappoint. It is a small boutique hotel with five bedrooms, the room we had was quite small, the bed was king size and very comfortable. The decor was very nice, lovely small bathroom. It was fine for us, we were out all day at friends. We were there for four nights, dined in two nights. We found the staff very helpful and attentive,the food was excellent, my husband had the Wagyu steak, said it was the best he ever had! Breakfasts were very good too, the yogurt, granola, berries, lovely, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs was excellent too. Be aware though breakfasts are not included in the room rate. We went Arundel Castle for the day, highly recommend it for a visit, so much history! Lovely tea shops in the town. I would recommend The Seaview!

Walking along coast and found the Seaview at East Preston for lunch , good choice of menu and superb food. Great position just yards off coastal path. Note to owners- it would be a good idea to have a sign on the coastal path to show where you are .

We have eaten at the Sea View a number of times and came last night for a valentines meal. We both agreed it was the BEST meal we have had here, actually one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. We both had scallops to start and had the ribeye to share from the valentines menu. The steak was absolutely perfect! The chimichurri sauce was the best I’ve had, fresh and delicious! Vegetable ms cooked just right and the tomatoes and basil consommé was a show stopper (as we mentioned would make a great addition to the cocktail menu as a Bloody Mary). Service was fabulous, attentive but not overbearing. All in all a great night. Thank you all for a lovely valentines. x

An absolute gem on the Sussex coast. Beautiful boutique hotel with fabulous food and hospitality. Rooms are well appointed, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Waking up and looking out to the sea was a treat. The staff were friendly and professional. I can imagine it gets busy in the summer as the locals use the pub and restaurant, so book early. We’ll definitely be back.
