Guest：Stayed here for 7 nights while skiing in Tignes, great location, clean and comfortable room, ski practically to door and staff were incredible! Romane & Ana?s on reception could not do enough for us, offering help with restaurant reservations and things to do in resort. They were both incredible! Thank you so much for the level of service and care you gave us!!

Guest：We really enjoyed our visit, the apartments were not far to 1st ski run, easy walk even in ski boots. The room was excellent as was the whole apartment, very clean and tidy, room cleaned everyday. Small pool and sauna but adequate. One thing was no bar on site as this is a separate building but main hotel had nice bar and seating just down the road. Otherwise well recommended.

Guest：Please only book this hotel if you are not wanting a 4* experience and are happy to settle for much less. This is very much the poor cousin of the 4* hotel it is in a group with (Village Montana). This is a small hotel which is essentially a mediocre annex up the road from the much nicer hotel. Pros: if you are half board you can eat in four different places (one has an additional cost of 15€) which are all nice (although all a walk away). Most of the staff we have met are nice and down to earth, and are fairly aware of the fact that this hotel is not up to standard. They were helpful when booking our restaurant choices for the evenings. Cons: it isn’t ski in ski out, please be aware that any time of the season you have to walk to access the piste (which is fine, but better to know). There isn’t a restaurant in the hotel. You do get a small breakfast choice but the fruit hasn’t been refreshed in the first four days we have been here and the scrambled eggs aren’t warm. The nice breakfast person said they just get fruit deliveries on Tuesdays. The more officious and in denial person tells me the fruit is refreshed every day (absolutely not true, either for the bowl of fruit or the fruit salad, and I have some very sad fruit photos to prove it). WiFi not great. The rooms are truly tiny, we would recommend just bringing one suitcase. The bathrooms are very dated, although they have jarringly changed the taps and plugs to be matte black newer fittings, but these are very odd against the 90s/early 00s tiling and shower tray (which could all do with fresh grout at the very least). I think the newer taps is how they have taken the liberty to say the hotel has been renovated, because we can’t work out any other way it has been, except perhaps the small armchairs in the lobby and tv in the room. There isn’t much seating in the lobby, about 14 could sit there. This doesn’t really matter as the ‘bar’ is a fridge behind the reception with a few soft drinks (no alcohol served to keep the hotel peaceful apparently, however you can BYOB and drink it in the lobby, which I would say would result in less peace, but what do I know). The boot heaters aren’t working (will be fixed after the season). The pool and sauna are in the basement, the pool could do with a new lining, and the sauna is ok (although it wasn’t on today, and they said they would sort/fix it, but it took them over 40 minutes to come down). I do not usually write reviews, but having spent extra money to book a 4* hotel instead of the usual 3* we stay in (which is nicer than this), we were really surprised at the poor quality, and I would prefer that others were aware so could book knowing what you are signing up for. The hotel down the road, which is owned by the same group and has one of the evening restaurant choices called Les Chanterelles, is much much nicer and exactly what you’d expect for a 4* hotel.
