Guest：Not the best choice. This was our third stop in Srilanka, this was suppose to be our stop for the Anniversary celebration, booked 2 nights considering we will relax but resort has lots of issues. The property looks totally empty and old. Lots of opportunity as it is sea front resort but looks like the hotel owner can’t upkeep the maintenance. Room- AC does not work, we had to shift our room in the 1st night after coming back from dinner to rest. As there were no king bed, we slept in a twin room on our anniversary day, very disappointed. WC was dirty and water was muddy. Restaurant and Room Service does not have any offerings, selection of food in buffet was poor and only local food. Being a tropical place, there were no choices of fruits. No seafood was available when we asked. We had all our meals outside except for Breakfast. The only good thing was the pool and the beach access. Requested for balcony with sea view so we got it. Wifi had a good connectivity. Given a choice between bentota and Colombo, would have stayed longer in Colombo. Bentota is just ok and not great.

Guest：I was blessed to spend my "Birthday- Family" weekend at dear Serandib! Hotel is very calm and quiet compared to most of the down south beach hotels. from the reception to pool-bar all the staff were gentle and willing to help. Rooms were very spacious and super clean. They had amazing private beach where only few people were occupied and had plenty to leisurely relax and day dream in your own bubble. In general my kids are very enthusiastic but unbelievably the hotel visit ended up giving me and my husband a relaxing weekend as kids were over the moon with hotel!!!

Guest：We visited this hotel in August 2023 after a week-long island tour. We were going to spend a whole week here. The ocean was quite rough, but the beach and pool were in perfect condition. The staff carefully monitored the cleanliness of the territory.The hotel itself made a pleasant impression on us — it is small and atmospheric. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean. The food was modest but nutritious, and we were not hungry.I would especially like to mention the staff — they were all very nice and friendly. I would especially like to highlight the hostess of the hotel — she was very hospitable and friendly. She treated us to fresh local pastries. You could always contact her with any questions. It was clear that she was a real hostess who took care of her hotel and kept the staff on their toes. As we understand it, this is a family businessOverall, it was a wonderful vacation. It's usually quiet here, but there are a lot of visitors on weekends, and it can be noisy. The atmosphere on the ocean reminded me of a childhood movie, "Treasure Island", by Lewis Stevenson. If you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of seclusion, village life, nature and the ocean, then you are here.

Guest：We stayed here for 1 night and enjoyed it. The room is not new, buy we had a late check in (2am) and a free upgrade to a triple room from a double. The beach is nice, and the pool is comfortable if you don't mind many local travelers with kids around you. We didn't mind it, so we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also nice and the free driver's accommodation was a nice bonus for us. Thank you.
