Guest：No hosts more accommodating and gracious than Ian and David. The fully renovated guesthouse is stylish and spotless; the room very comfortable and quiet. The attention to detail and warm hospitality turned our 3-night stay into a five-star experience. Edinburgh center is at walkable distance, but two bus lines stop right in front of the door. Highly recommended!
Guest：A pleasant surprise! Booked it based on reviews and availability, got a wonderful experience here. Room was at it appeared in the photos, I got the single with seperate bathroom, the check in with David was very thorough and he was very helpful in answering questions about the house, the amenities, and able to answer questions over WhatsApp (a godsend as an international traveller). Bathroom and bedroom were clean, fully stocked, and cozy; no air conditioning however, but that's just about everywhere in the UK, you gotta either bring a fan or remember to crack a window. I sleep like a rock so I'm not the best barometer for noise but I was surprised at how quiet the street was compared to the hustle and bustle of the bars about 10 minutes walk from the place. Breakfast was excellent, Ian pulled out all the stops with a little chalkboard and took orders to bring it out to you, absolutely charming and friendly the whole time he was doing so. On occasion I ran into the staff who helped around the home, very friendly, kept the place clean, they even offered to refilled a waterbottle I had prior to a hike before I left for the day after I tried to find a place to fill it myself. All in all, a fantastic experience, I greatly enjoyed the hospitality there and if I'm ever in Edinburgh again I'm very much interested in staying here again.
Guest：I could not be happier with our choice to stay here!! The warmth and attentiveness of the hosts was beyond compare. The breakfast each morning was delicious and even though my sister and I both have dietary restrictions (1 vegetarian and 1 gluten free) there were full breakfast options for both of us. The room was great with more than enough space for the two of us and the walk into the city center was short and you got to see some very cool neighborhoods along the way. But the highlight of this bed and breakfast truly is the amazing hospitality which is some of the best I have ever experienced! All in all it was a perfect stay in Edinburgh!
Guest：I had a wonderful experience here on a 4 night stay. The owners are both friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was lovely and the bed was comfy. The whole house was clean and very well-maintained, and they had the best breakfast spread I had on my whole trip. It was clear they care a lot about their guests and go out of their way to create a good experience. Loved it! The location is in a cute residential neighborhood, so it's quiet. There are some nice restaurants close-by, and you can walk into Old Town for all the tourist hot spots. There's also a bus that picks up right outside. Finally, I'm gluten-free, so I'm always calculating that into my hotel research. Not only did they have a fantastic gf breakfast available, but they had several different options. Tried them all. :-)
