Guest：This Hotel is very disappointing for the area! The receptionist had no customer service skills, was miserable, unfriendly and seemed annoyed when I asked her a few questions about size of room and if there was a lift to the top floor. I had to drag a heavy case up three flights of stairs as an older woman with no offer of help from staff. On reaching the start of the second flight, one of the housemaids saw me struggling so picked up case and carried it all the way up to my room luckily. The room was very small with a double bed. It was noisy with no double glazing windows that were hard to push up or down. The hotel needs refurbished and not up to a high standard for the prices they charge for the rooms. Definitely over priced and not good for this type of area in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. I never want to stay in this hotel ever again. Most of the staff are unprofessional and do not go the extra mile for their customers! I will never go back there again in the future. Dreadful experience overall.

Guest：Very nice hotel,upgraded to a superior room,recently refurbished and very spacious and clean,very quiet,fantastic staff no waiting at reception,dining room very good,meal excellent,my only concern it’s up a steep hill and I don’t drive,beautiful views

Guest：Small, no frills room. Nowhere to hang out besides bar. Extra charge for pool and gym. Location a little out of the way.

Guest：This is my second stay at The Woodlands. It’s a wonderful hotel with equally as wonderful employees. It’s clean and quiet and the food and bar are excellent. It will always be my first choice when staying in the ferry.
