  • Guest：A wonderful feeling of serenity in rustic surroundings. Owner Reitze and his wife are extremely hospitable. This is also a wonderful place to stop overnight en route to other destinations as it is about 10 min from OR Thambo airport. Reitze does trips to and from the airport with his guests, on request. These people, who didn't know me at all, offered me a chalet to rest in for a whole day, when my flight to Australia was delayed by 8 hours!

  • Guest：Oh this place is magical! Beautiful flower filled gardens, lovely African birds singing in the trees and strolling through the lawns. I loved the quaint thatched roof bungalows. The owner is just delightful and a wealth of information! He makes the most wonderful filling breakfasts made to order every morning. It was helpful because I wasn't hungry again until 4 pm. He will pick you up from the airport and even do tours for you as well. He is so knowledgeable and has great suggestions for making the most of your time in Johannesburg and beyond. After hearing about all the wonderful places we could visit from him, I am definitely going to bring my family back and book tours with him! The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated, lovely bathrooms with steaming hot showers. It was a little cool when we were there that day I was delighted to find a heated mattress to keep me warm and happy all night.
