  • Guest：Nice and quiet What a nice quit stay we had! Richard was very helpful! Do make sure you have contact with him before you get there to get your room assignment. Are room was spacious and had beautiful views. Are very convenient to Grasmere.

Very quiet and relaxing. Private access to Lake Windermere was a revelation…an amazing little spot so near. We saw the Lake like we had never seen it before. Must bring wild swimming gear with us next time. Would highly recommend. Stayed in Penthouse with large balcony and wonderful views in the distance. Small kitchenette was just right what we wanted. Wildlife fantastic. Saw 4 badgers on the lawn. Relaxed each day in Sauna. Very relaxing place to be with wonderful walks . Thank you we plan to return.

  • Guest：My first stay at the house. The place is immaculate, praise to the hosts and housekeeping staff. I had two nights in the Penthouse suite which was well equipped for self catering. Or, have all your meals at the Distillers Arms only 100 metres away. Large and comfortable bed. A bathroom with bath and shower. A bath was welcomed after 2 days of walking. There is a balcony, accessible from the suite, which was huge. An area to benefit from, on better weather days. Views over the lake and fell side. Carparking was free, and that is a benefit with the house, in Grasmere. A short walk down the lane and you are in the Grasmere village.
