Guest:We are staying at Marriott Jaisalmer on the occasion of my wife’s birthday, and our experience has been truly wonderful. I would like to especially appreciate Mr. Satyalpal, the Restaurant Manager, for his outstanding hospitality. He was extremely cooperative, warm, and genuinely caring. His birthday wishes and personal attention made our celebration even more special and memorable. He ensured everything was perfectly taken care of and made us feel truly welcomed. I sincerely thank him for his efforts and also wish that all the staff continue to maintain the same level of warmth and professionalism. A big thank you to Mr. Satyalpal and the entire Marriott Group for such a delightful experience. I happily rate 5 out of 5 for his behavior and the overall service. Cheers and thanks once again!

Guest:I had high hopes for this Hotel. Where do I start. So I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival and asked for a Fort View Room. I was in contact with Partha Saha, the Front Office Manager more than 6 months in advance to secure such a room, which he promised. I had also confirmed the room a week before I arrived. Upon arrival, the reception desk was a total mess. Four people handling my checking in process on Monday 15th December at around 6pm - 6.30pm. When I arrived, my private tour guide and I noticed a few things: 1. Other guests were treated with attention and respect and I was not. Example - a couple of guests received a special welcome with a gift. I got nothing and zero acknowledgement. 2. We were made to wait at the desk for 15 mins - 20 mins before anyone was willing to talk to us. Should I divulge how much this hotel cost me for 1 night?? 3. When someone actually came to my aid to check me in, they had no idea what they were doing, I was passed around to four different people because the main twit was distracted with doing other things and passed me around to four different people. He even got so confused and asked my private guide for his passport because he thought he had a room booked too. I clearly told him with a booking confirmation that there was 1 room and it was for me and me only. The four staff were totally inexperienced and disorganised and even laughed at us while we were extremely peeved. I opted to pay my room at check-in and ask for a receipt of payment. The twit at the front desk said he could not give me a receipt and I only got the EFTPOS slip from the credit card payment. I insisted and he refused. I insisted again and he refused. When I finally got to my room, yes, it was super large but I had NO FORT VIEW ROOM. Instead I had a view of a junk yard and bird droppings. I clearly stated at check-in that a fort view room was guaranteed for me and the young woman with glasses said that there would be a fort view. Also all the extra towels I asked for 12 MONTHS BEFOREHAND WHEN BOOKING and the woman at the front desk at check-in said THEY WERE THERE IN THE ROOM - THEY WERE MISSING. It didn't stop there. The whole 1 night stay was a disaster. After they took my food order, I looked at the bill and was charged TWICE for a meal. I had to then rectify this by contacting the Restaurant Manager, Vineet Sinha who sorted this out swiftly for me, but it should not have happened. Full stop. If I did not check, I would have paid double. Later that night, I decided to go to the front desk and check up on my bill. I was told the room HAD NOT BEEN PAID FOR. Well what do you know, that is exactly why I ASKED FOR AN INVOICE. The previous twit had already left and the new guy at the front desk said he should have given me an invoice. So here I am, accused of not paying when I just paid for a room almost $800 AUD. I had the EFTPOS receipt in my room but boy was I annoyed and what a time waster. I told him to sort it out and to
