  • Guest：Old creaky floorboard rooms - lots of stairs - no lift - good location - staff are excellent - next door restaurant excellent too. Very helpful in finding a way to help weary travellers. Try the steak ale pie, garlic mushrooms, and snickers cheescake - yumm!
  • Guest：Just had a fab one night stay here. We had room 1 was was lovely, spacious and felt historical. Parking is a problem you could only park on the street outside the hotel for 30 minutes unless you arrived after 6pm (no restrictions on a Sunday). We stayed in an NCP carpark about a 5 minute walk away it only cost ￡3.95. The breakfast was lovely and it's a few doors down from a Wetherspoons. We would definitely stay here again.
  • Guest：The hotel is in keeping with its age maintained well but obviously creaky stairs etc the rooms are spotless with everything you could expect the receptionist when we arrived was very friendly & informative so helpfull in all aspects we ate at the restaurant which was STUNNING the food was well presented cooked perfectly and waitress was super efficient and friendly the breakfast in morning was just as good quality and waiter just as pleasant. The downside for me is BRIDGEWATER its self nothing in town centre except for charity vape and barber shoos SUCH a shame I'm sure at sometime this was a thriving town.... THIS IS THE ONLY reason we WONT be going back to the bar/hotel
  • Guest：Warm welcome at check in and all the staff we encountered were lovely and very friendly. Our room (14) was furthest away from reception and meant lots of stairs (up and down) and little corridors all in keeping with this very old building (I think it was built in the 1600’s). Lovely en-suite room. We had dinner and breakfast here and both meals were delicious. They made fresh fruit salad at breakfast, much nicer than the tinned version you may encounter at other establishments. They’re undergoing a programme of redecoration but it is very clean and tidy.
